Held Hostage To Counties And Schools, North Dakota Decides Wether To Abolish Property Taxes

From Inforum:

"BISMARCK — A proposed constitutional amendment to abolish property taxes in North Dakota has been approved for the ballot."

I hope the citizens of North Dakota decide to eliminate property taxes and the indentured servitude they create. The Constitution guarantees property rights, and Americans have been letting them slip away little by little for decades. It's unfathomable how this could be acceptable to most people, and I'm proud to see citizens stepping up to eliminate what could easily be construed to be unconstitutional taxes.

The website dedicated to the tax elimination measure has this to say about our tax dollars:

"We do not elect our representatives to determine how much of what we earn we get to keep. We elect them to prioritize spending the precious dollars we choose to entrust to them."
