In a recent post, I pointed out how the Texas House had passed a bill making it a crime for a public servant to touch, “the anus, sexual organ, buttocks, or breast of another person” including through clothing.
This is a law that clearly does not need to exist--we already have the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution that implicitly states the need for probable cause:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
TSA agents violate the Fourth Amendment every day. TSA agents work at airports. Airports are located within counties. Counties have elected representatives who have sworn an oath to defend and protect the U.S. Constitution. One of those representatives is commonly referred to as the Sheriff.
Denver doesn't elect a sheriff. The mayor appoints a manager of safety and an undersheriff to work at his pleasure. That means the mayor is responsible to his oath of office in regard to constitutional issues. Denver has an international airport, and there are TSA agents working there 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They've been there for nearly a decade now. They've been violating the Fourth Amendment for nearly a decade now. Do you know who was mayor for the better part of that time? Why our dear old Governor, that's who.
I believe that when enough citizens finally realize just how criminal an act it is for elected representatives to allow blatant violations of the Constitution to occur after they've sworn that oath, we'll finally start to see indictments.
Every U.S. citizen who's been through DIA has had unreasonable searches performed on their person and their belongings. John Hickenlooper swore an oath to defend and protect the tenets of the U.S. constitution as Mayor of Denver, yet made not one move to disband or prohibit the operation of the TSA.
The definition of treason is thus: "The betrayal of a trust or confidence; breach of faith;treachery." The Texas legislature has made a pretty clear case of criminal conduct by the TSA. I believe it is reasonable to assume that each Congressman, sheriff, county commissioner, mayor or other sworn representative who's jurisdiction includes operatives of the TSA, is committing an act of treason by not doing anything to put a stop to it.
i believe we have great country and we have been deceived by many who make their living on the backs of its people , I have heard that Texas wishes to remove its self from federal laws. In
ReplyDeleteour history states wished to remain independent so they could be self ruled and could allow slavery . If the constitution is removed which i do not believe it can be , is treason against the people . Federal law supercedes State and protects citizens from the abuse of the states. Since 2000 our nation has been removing american children from familys . Children are heirs to parents and grandparents land and property.Your sons and daughters are place in prisons without procedural due process and jury trials . It they take an oath to serve and protect the constitution and fail to do so and thei people they have commited treason under the laws of the land .No person should be allowed to be president if he does not prove he is from america before office not after . The government shall not become an information gathering system . if they take your children and place your heir in prison they have just attempted to steal your land . And without your protected rights under the constitution .
decency secerity and liberty alike demands that government officials be subjected to the same rules of conduct that are commanded to the citizens. if the government becomes the lawbreaker , it brreds contempt for law , it invites every man to become a law unto himself it invites anarchy . to declare that the governemtn mayy commit crimes (itself) in order to secure the conivtion of a private criminal
would bring terrible retribution . Justice Louis Brandeis . They are trying to take your freedom and liberty right under your eyes . They have given theirselves immunity to protect their actions . Immunity was for the people .
I love my country , but I ask my country to serve by the oath in which you took . Slavery and making theirselves wealthy was the objective
