Tax Evading Tim |
Just this morning, an article in the Denver Post boldly proclaims the assured destruction of the entire U.S. should Congress fail to raise the debt ceiling.
Tax evading Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner wrote a note to our illustrious Senator Michael Bennet declaring:
"If Congress fails to raise the nation's debt ceiling, it would spark "catastrophic and far-reaching damage" to the economy with the federal government likely defaulting on its current obligations, which could affect everything from the housing market to people's 401k accounts to credit card interest rates."
If you were reading this blog late last night, you might have happened upon a piece I wrote addressing just this topic. In the piece titled Your Congressional Representatives Are Morons | Or They Think You Are, I pointed out that the U.S. will only default if they RAISE the debt ceiling.
Senator Bennet is less qualified to hold his post than a homeless person begging on the sidewalk. He will vote to increase the debt ceiling while pontificating about prudence and cuts. I wouldn't care if he was an idiot on his own time, but he and his ilk are placing this nation in a dangerously precarious position.
If you'd like to contact Mr. Bennet, just send this post to his e-mail account here:

Here's the e-mail I sent titled: Tim Geithner's A Moron
Senator,
I read an article in the Denver Post this morning about how tax evading Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner has sent you a letter assuring the destruction of America should you not vote to raise the debt ceiling.
I have no doubt you are not strong enough to stand up against this insane viewpoint, much less say anything publicly about it; but a sense of duty compels me to write you nonetheless.
The ONLY way the United States will default on her obligations is if you raise the debt ceiling. PERIOD.
A vote to raise the debt ceiling is a vote to destroy America.
Sincerely,
Reggie Paulk
